Everyday Battles by Bob Schultz

I know some of you have read and appreciated Bob Schultz’ books Boyhood and Beyond, Created for Work, and Practical Happiness. If you haven’t read them, you really should! They are not just for boys!! They were written in that format, but everybody, girls, boys, old, and young will learn from the principles taught. Mr. Schultz writes in a personal way the lessons he has learned from reading God’s Word, events in life, and watching nature. He has shared from his heart of the real, personal, moment-by-moment relationship that God longs to have with each of us. Mr. Schultz tells of his mistakes and failures in a candid way and how they drew him closer to the Daddy-heart of God.

We were extremely blessed to have Mr. and Mrs. Schultz here in our home in May 2008. We had a mini conference day with Mr. Schultz and Mark Holden speaking on raising families and developing relationships. We really treasured the time we had getting to know the Schultz’ and greatly looked forward to deepening our friendship. Five weeks later, Mr. Schultz was speaking at a homeschool conference in Chicago, Illinois when he suffered a major heart attack and went home with the Lord. He is very much missed. Thankfully, through his books, his life and teachings are continuing to challenge and encourage people to be real in their relationship with God.

Mr. Schultz had a book he was working on about battles and hadn’t completed, according to our view, but the Lord knew what His plan and timing was. We are so grateful that his family has pulled it together and that the Lord provided a publisher for it. The release date was March 1st.

Everyday Battles

Here is the description of the book on amazon.com

In his final book, Bob Schultz delves into God's purpose for battles and conflicts in our lives. Simple and engaging, Everyday Battles offers perspective on how to find God in the heart of daily conflicts and decisions. Written for young men, this book will help anyone who desires to experience a vibrant, moment-by-moment walk with God.

Bob’s passion was investing in men and families, and authoring books was part of that. He was nearly finished with Everyday Battles when he collapsed with a fatal heart attack moments after a speaking engagement. At the request of loyal readers across the nation, his final, partially completed manuscript is now available.

You can purchase it from amazon.com or by emailing bouldercreekbooks@gmail.com Amazon says it is out of stock, but the more orders they get they will bring it in.

God bless the Schultz family, we love you!!
