A classic “Emma” picture!
A Charlie Brown “Fruit Loop” Tree
We put Boaz on this little horse and he was very still – not quite sure what to do! “You need to rock it, Boaz,” we said as we gently rocked it for him. Soon, he would nod just his head forward and backward, but by the end of the evening he was really rockin’ and enjoying it thoroughly as you can see by his face. In the middle of a bronc bustin’ ride, he would stop, smile, and wave “Hi!” at us. Note: He never got thrown. =)
Ride ‘em cowboy!
“Daddy, how you do that?”
I made Boaz and Emma a hooded bath towel for Christmas. Boaz gets distracted from his bath because he likes to play with the antlers on the towel. =)
Sleepy little girl!
We had a special Christmas Eve service in our barn. We had a manger, a cross, a purple robe, three huge nails and pine boughs. The spotlight really brought it out. To make it even more “authentic” we had an alpaca, chickens, a calf, and two donkeys all crowded around us. The Brocketts, Ruths, Nepals, Jeff, and Dave all came to celebrate with us by singing songs and reading the Christmas story together. Afterwards, we went to the Brocketts for dessert and fellowship.
Boaz is a true farmer boy! Tractor was his first word and he loves to play with them with Uncle Jonathan. =)
Be looking for the next post……. ; )
