What We’ve Been Up To

DSC03471

This year our greenhouse is almost full. We have a batch of cole crops (broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, collards, kale…) almost ready to DSC03456ship out to Harrington’s Greenhouses down the road and hopefully a new batch will be coming here for us to transplant and water, and water, and water until they start crying to be sent out and put in somebody’s garden. =)

Halfway down the house we have a bunch of pots. These are 4 1/2 in pots with 15 set DSC03458in a tray. I like having flowers as it makes it so colorful. We have many different kinds of flowers, some you probably never heard of before. Marigolds, sweet potato vine, bonfire begonia, spearmint, torneia, osteospernum, licorice plant, and other interesting names.

DSC03463How about a goldfish plant?

DSC03467We have white and purple bacopa. Pretty little flowers, but very stinky!

DSC03473 We planted 200 pots of tomatoes. They are already developing little green tomatoes on them. I can’t wait till we get fresh ones from the garden!

Lilacs – my all time favorite flowers!!
