It's raining, it's raining!

We have had so much rain the past month! It's making up for all the lack of rain we had in April and May. Dark clouds with thunderstorms are very frequent.



Several times, especially at dusk, the sun will shine brightly from the far west, but directly over top of us there is a rain cloud giving of its moisture. I love to sit outside when that happens - the light is yellowish making everything a more brilliant color against the shadows. Many of these times we see rainbows like the one below.



What a grand and glorious God we have who made such amazing things and us to appreciate it!

On the evenings that are clear and sunny we like to go out to our arbor, have a cookout for dinner, play catch, do family devotions, and watch enormous clouds with lightning in it.



We have quite a collection of Adirondack furniture that Daddy and Jonathan have made and completed the "living room" with 2 swings.



We enjoy watching the bluebirds that have a nest in the bluebird house on the corner of the white fence. We also like to take frequent trips into the garden and munch on a cucumber, peas, or eat a juicy strawberry.



I thank God for the pretty, peaceful place to enjoy each other. So, if you ever come visit you can join us in our arbor (as long as it's not raining).
